The TV set really dosen't care much for the 6D, but I
correted it all so I hope it's more realibly.

Mine others two DVD recorders, pioneer and panasonic do
accept the discrete codes.

Also I have one more question for you, I got the Panasonic
Plasma discrete for the post below this and almost all
worked fine, I do have two plasmas set from panasonic
one is 42 inch and the other one is 58inch. The 42 one
works fine w/ the discrete off code but do not repond
at all to the ON discrete code, all input dicrete codes
also work.

The ON discrete does not work:

Panasonic's, and Toshiba models that are the same thing, sometimes require 3 consecutive discrete ON commands in a row, and usually with no delay between them. Don't know why, just found that tip a long time ago in the TSU1000 days. Some of the newer Panasonics, like the 600u model, also require 3 commands. Have one that's gotten worse over time, about 6 years old now, and requires 10 ON commands to get going. Have tried relearning, played with delays, other discretes, etc, go figure. But it works everytime.

Hope that helps
