The 15-925 is an IR/RF remote. I have disconnected my RF receiver and tested the remote with the IR543. Works fine, even lights the IR 543's pilot light when you send IR.
Still can't get the ProntoNeo to accept X-10 IR commands. I still wonder if the device setting (branding) does not somehow restrict the frequencies that the remote will accept
