How are you up/downloading to the pronto? You may be able to up/download to the neo using VirtualPC, but that it the only way.

The pronto communicates using the Xmodem protocol, so it's fairly trivial to connect directly to it using a terminal emulator and type 'ul ccf' and the receive in Xmodem. That made it really easy for people to write software for the pronto.

The neo does not use Xmodem, or any protocol that I recognize. Any software written for the pronto will not work for the neo.
