I have both a TSU 1000 and now a neo, I have been able to up/down load to both on my G4 450, although I have a lot of trouble with the neo, has anyone found any new information as to settings that will improve the neo
Thanks

How are you up/downloading to the pronto? You may be able to up/download to the neo using VirtualPC, but that it the only way.

The pronto communicates using the Xmodem protocol, so it's fairly trivial to connect directly to it using a terminal emulator and type 'ul ccf' and the receive in Xmodem. That made it really easy for people to write software for the pronto.

The neo does not use Xmodem, or any protocol that I recognize. Any software written for the pronto will not work for the neo.

I am using vpc 4 (I am going to try version 5 tonight) connected to a keyspan highspeed adaptor running OS 9.2.2 (I have tryed using OSX however I can't get it to work at all). Downloading is working very well but uploading fails 9 out 10 times, I get an error message that says something like recieved 3de43 instead of 3dr43 (it is always different) It seems the information is getting corrupted through transfer. I have played with the port settings in the keyspan control panel as well as in windows and cannot seem to make any improvement, I really don't grasp most of the port setting information so I am really just experimenting, I was hoping that someone could make suggestions as to settings or any other possible adjustments

Thanks RWI

Sorry, I can't help you. I just ordered a highspeed adaptor, but it won't be in for a week or so. I'll be able to help you out then if you still need it...
