It seems that the world experts on the NEO post here, so hopefully I can pick your brains.
For some background that may save time...I have all latest the software and firmware updates. I have no problem with setting up the pages or anything to do with the appearance of the screens. In fact, I made my NCF look exactly how I want it.
Now the problem, while the unit and NCF looks real nice, I can't get it to work anything. Well that is an exagerration, but not too far off.
I entered the BRAND codes, which did very little for me. I tried learning each button and with some difficulty got the unit to read OK for each....but then it did not work properly (hard and soft buttons)
I don't really know any other way. What about NEO hacker? I have it on my computer...and from TIVO I got a bunch of long string codes for each button. But I am new to this stuff and don't even know what to do with the codes!
