Arjen: I don't have TiVo, but the setup for DVD lets you push the mode button, and watch the menu switch back and forth between "Navigate" mode, "Contol" mode, and "Play" mode. Each mode has a different list of commands displayed for it. Selecting a mode itself does not send out a signal.

When you choose to select "Control" mode, you are presented with the "Change Activity" menu, which lists your preset activities. So, in your case, you would select "TiVo" or "Watch TiVo" or whatever you named it during setup, when you are ready to leave DVD mode. ... Mike
