a note about buying online and warranties...I got scared when I read Denon's warranty stuff that said they would not support products purchased from non-authorized dealers, so here is what I did...
I bought the Receiver from Crutchfields for the "Collusion special" $999. Got it the next day and everything was beautiful. Then I searched the web to see if I could get it cheaper on-line. I found "Joe's web store"[insert your favorite cheap online vendor here] was selling the same exact item for $700.
I printed out the add and called up my credit card company (AMEX Optima Platinum $0.00 yearly) and got to their "price protection" group. I told them my story and they asked me to send them copies of the crutchfield and the online add to compare. They noted the $299 difference and send me a check within the week for $250 (the max).
I'm very, very, very happy that I chose American Express.
