Have you considered one of the new inexpensive
digital projectors and a manusan pull down screen?
It shouldn't set you back any more, if as much
as, the TV's you're looking at if you're room
and SO can handle it.
It wouldn't be much of a problem to install in this house, but the issue would be that during the day my living room is very bright and I know my wife wouldn't want to have to darken the room all the time to watch TV.
