I talked to Mitch at RTI and the problem is that Sony built a unique remote to work with the DA90ESG. The remote operates right at the top of the 460kHz frequency range of the T2.

RTI has had some success with this Sony but not consistently. They are working with another customer who has the same problem, and ask that you be
patient while they work this out.

If you want to return the remote I will understand that is not a problem either. Right now there is nothing on the market that I could recommend that could do a better job. I would give them a little time and see what they come up with.
