The serial protocol for Denon's AVR-5803 is really quite simple. The AVR-3803 is likely the same. For power on, in the string field type "PWRON\r" without the quotes. For power off, "PWSTANDBY\r". Make sure you set the communication settings for the Denon under Edit Button Properties.
