Except for local channels, the channel numbers are the same everywhere. Sounds more like a delay problem, maybe BigMac's receiver is not exactly the same model as the one the ccf was designed for.
Look in the code sequence for one of the stations, for example MSNBC (356). It should look like:
alias to the code for 3
delay
alias to the code for 5
delay
alias to the code for 6

Try increasing the duration of the delays and see what happens. You could start with something really long (0.5 seconds), then if that works try reducing it and see if you can find the optimum delay (the shortest that works every time). My Hughes sat receiver works OK at 0.2 seconds.
