Rob & Peter,
Perhaps I am not following you. For years I have followed the directions in the FAQs to have the ProntoPro start up in the home screen (checking the write protect box and naming the home screen: h-o-m-e. Only lately did I encounter the erratic behavior I cited in my origanal post.
A few weeks ago I ran out of memory so I deleted a "start screen" I had before the home screen so I could cram a few more DVD picture screens in my ccf. Again the home screen came up first and no problems. Then yesterday after I substituted a DVD picture of the new version of Robin Hood for the old one and download the ccf into the ProntoPro the problem started.
Paul, are you close to being out of memory? I sure wish Phillips would release a ProntoPro with more memory!
