I have had the ES10 for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. I have recorded over 45 movies so far without one single hitch. I record from a TiVo unit so I didn't feel that I really needed a recorder with a hard drive. A hard drive unit would be nice for dubbing, however if you don't need that I feel you will be happy with the ES10.
