Mlang, thanx for the info. I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade to the Sony with 5.1 output. That is more important to me than the TiVo option. Hell, I get all them channels that do nothing but RERUN anyway, so I don't think recording them is a priority. I can always use my trusty ole' VCR instead of letting it function as a clock and collect dust!
