I just read that there is going to be a Direct TV/Tivo combination box. The article stated that the combo is good, since the sat received and tivo both must decompress the data. Therefore with 2 separate boxes, the data must decompress then recompress into Tivo then decompress again for viewing. Dose anyone know if this is true and if the combo box would be better?

I don't know the manufacturer yet. Also, Sony is supposedly coming out with a Tivo box.
