I'm surprised you're getting anything on either TV. With the TiVo gone, you have no tuning capability as far as satellite is concerned. That would be like connecting an antenna to an amplifier and expecting to hear radio. The DirecTiVo also supplies power to the dish's LNB, so the head-end unit is not even being powered at all.
