If you are close to the US, you should be able to see the satellites. If you had switched to paperless internet billing, you could have simply brought your equipment with you, reaimed for the new location, and carried on as normal. I don't know if it would be possible to get set up from your new home, though.

There's a whole bunch of people in the US who prefer the Canadian sat service, though. Is it that bad?
