Re-posting in appropriate (I hope) thread ...
Hi All.
I'm new to this, so please bear with me!
I just bought my first HDTV (Sony Bravia with ATSC Tuner).
We already have Rogers Digitial Cable service (with a Rogers Digital Terminal, but that terminal is connected to another TV set).
We are in the Mississauga (Toronto), Ontario Area.
I understand that to receive HDTV, one option is to get a HDTV Terminal from Rogers. Instead of renting the terminal, I can purchase one for $300.
I then have the option of signing up for various Rogers HDTV Channel packages, or just receive the "freely" available HDTV channels and pay Rogers $5.99/month for service fees.
1. Does anyone know which HDTV stations I get for "free"?
Are all the channels listed in the "Toronto, Ontario & Buffalo, New York HDTV Channel Map" page available via Rogers Cable for free?
2. Also, is anyone aware of any Rogers HDTV promotions? Any recommendations?
Thanks, Jason
