Not only are we not in Beta, but the product is discontinued so dont expect any furthur enhancements to ProntoEdit... The 6000 is very old by electronics standards and USB just wansnt common when it was developed and introduced. (ANd trust me USB on the new remotes isnt any faster for some reason)

I can tell you that most people are very happy with the performance of the 6000. But when you stretch its limitations, theres quirks to deal with. As far as cost goes, tyr pricing out an AMX or Crestron system to do what your doing with the Pronto..... 3500-5000 minimum.
