Couple of questions:
What is the brand of the lock? I know you said Black and Decker but does someone else make it?

Does it say it is Home Link compatible?

If the unit is Home Link compatible then it will work with X-10. I would assume that all you need a RF transceiver to receive the remotes signal. You could then use X-10 module in your home. Check out this website and see if this looks similar: http://homelink.jci.com/
