Hi,

Currently I have a decora 3way dimmer switch at the bottom of my stairs and a normal decora toggle 3way switch at the top of my stairs. We have a chandelier light over the stairs that this controls.

My question is can I leave the decora 3way dimmer switch installed and set it at a specified dim level and then replace the upstairs normal decora toggle 3way switch with an X10 master switch and control the light with X10 so that when it comes on it will come on to the dim level set by the decora 3way dimmer switch at the bottom of the stairs?
