Okay I think I have a solution to the ceiling problem. I'll work on it in the coming months. Basically, I'm gonna buy a 12 channel IR receiver kit, take apart a Hampton Bay RF remote and hard tie the IR receiver relays to simulated a button press on the remote. Conveniently, the IR kit comes with an IR remote so you can learn those buttons to your remote. I'll give details after it's built.
