Now if we could get people to respect the wishes of the individuals at the MPAA and RIAA and not illegally trade their intellectual property in a similar fashion. When a person or group of persons developes intellectual property, they have a right to licence the copyrights as they see fit. Any violation of said licence agreements entitles the agreived individual or group of individuals to collect damages through civil litigation.
I fully support the rights of Dave Houston, the MPAA and the RIAA to protect their intelectual property and distribute it in such a fashion as they see fit.
