Hey Sean, If you don't want to sacrifice your DVD payer than I suggest that you check out the Marantz S8000 or the Marantz SR19. Both are very welll built recievers and are future ready. The Denon 3300 is still very attractive but in this business you still get what you pay for and IMHO if a unit is stocked with everything but the kitchen sink and still costs less or the same as a regular budget receiver than someones taking shorts on parts and workmanship. Check out the build of the Denon3600 and try to pick it up and you'ss see what I'm talking about.
