Plus I would add that it depends on the device you use, and light. A TV is less affected, but a Projector more. At my dad's house, the TV is in a room with a patio door, He has a vary pale couch (cream color mostly). On a sunny day, the light reflects of f the couch and you get a big white blob on the screen.
