the input switches on the front can be assigned to any of the digital inputs in the back. I tried assigning the cd input switch to use one of the digital inputs and it didn't work. Today I am going to try the sat/tv input switch since that one seems to do dolby digital from my dishplayer. I am going to hook up the sat straight to the tv to free up the port on the receiver.

I am researching receivers now and I am leaning toward a kenwood but can't figure out if they support pro logic ii.
