my current pioneer 509 has two optical inputs and one coax input.
If you use the coax connection you automatically lose one of the optical inputs.
my question is, how can you hook up two digital inputs from dvd players? it seems that the only input that understands 5.1 is the dvd/ld input. I tried using cd and it didn't work. I haven't tried sat/tv yet because I my satellite is hooked up through there.
as a work around i have been using the coax connection and reassinging the inputs with a macro when i need to switch dvd players.
