I have been using a pretty old Carver amplifier (M200T) connected to the multizone jacks of a Denon 3300 receiver in order to power my outdoor and kitchen speakers. Unfortunately, the power supply died on the Carver, and it will cost $200 to fix it.
I am considering purchasing a new (cheap) amplifier to replace the Carver. Any ideas? Is there any reason to spend $200 to fix an 18 year-old amplifier?
