Hi all,
I cannot seem to run bog-standard stereo sound from my TV to the amp. Everything else works fine (optical, co-ax, DVD, DD, DTS, blah blah) but if I watch basic analogue TV the composite audio out phono cables don't appear to feed anything to the amp. The TV is a Thomson Widescreen 32" (sorry, can't remember model #) and the amp a Denon AVR1601. I tried running through the amp's setup routines(although I'm no expert with them), and checked for anything relevant on the TV, but no joy. I've tried two different sets of phono cable, and using different audio-in sockets on the amp. Short of reporting dodgy audio-outs on the TV (I will be testing this with another amp asap), Has anyone any suggestions please?

Incidentally, anyone know where I can mail-order an optical TOSlink cable for the xbox in the UK?

Thanks very much!
Dan.
