I guess the best thing to do is to give it a try, and see what happens.

I bought an armoire with doors that slide back into the cabinet. Its really nice but the shelf below where the tv sits is only 6 inches high, so either I try to put it on the side of the tv, or put it underneath where I would have to open the doors below(they dont slide into the unit) everytime I want to watch a movie and then keep them open where they are in the way of the tower speakers. I guess I'll figure something out!!
