I have same problem with my Philips 32PW9615. It is due to the S-Video, which does not carry the switching signal which is on the SCART.

The TV has "Automatic" screen format mode, but in my experience it doesn't really work and I select it manually all the time - damn annoying, but I haven't found a way around.

Anyone has a solution?
