Hi John,

Got the same problem after a few months. I bought de Denon 2900 in may, in august I experienced dropouts in the Eagles DVD DTS track. After this I also got Dropouts in SACD's randomly, Didn't try Die another day, but i will these days. Tonight de player didn't even load 2 CD's. The new Spyro Gyra and a dutch CD. i played boths CD yesterday and today.

I'm planning to return the player to the store. Please let me know if you got any further solving this problem.

update: after checking de firmware info, both CD's played again. I cannot reproduce the errors.
