here. I plan on using these for just my big screen
tv so as not to bother my kids while they are
doing homework. I will sit in my chair about 10
feet away and do not really care about being able
to walk around the whole house, in other words,
they can work as line of sight and I am happy,
so IR would work fine if the quality is decent.
I hear RF can have hissing and what not if there
computers, phones etc, around. Also, do I plug
these headphones in the Line Out jacks of the
TV or the Line Out ( Var Audio) jacks ?? THanks
I'd say that for 10', either will work well; either can be interfered with in the wrong environment.
Using the variable output allows for using the TV's volume control for, well, volume control.
