Obviously I'm late on this (I only joined the forum when I got my MX-700). But I just wanted to "brag" that I, too, have one of these, and it's still working. I remember buying it because, simply, there wasn't anything else like it, and it served me well for years.

While I'm bragging I have an original CORE too. I bought one, it died, and since I was traveling to the Bay Area I called them up and went over to get a new one. I remember it was, to be frank, a very "simple" office, literally with a piece of paper with "CORE" written on it stuck to the door. The guy at the desk when I came in remembered my call, and reached into his drawer and pulled out a new CORE, and I handed him my own. I was hoping to see Wozniak, but...
