I'm looking for an ir extender to control multiple products inside a cabinet. This radio shack product looks like what I need. How does the receiver get the info to the various devices? Do you have the receiver inside the cabinet with the "command eye" facing the ir receiver in the equipment? Or is it a hardware from the receiver tot he various equipment?
