Are you trying to control the SAT using the RF feature or directly from the remote?

If you're using RF, are you using the IR blaster that comes with this remote, or do you just have the base unit positioned in front of your gear.

Whether you're using the IR blaster or the base unit, do you have them positioned close enough to the SAT unit?
