I have a DishNetwork 501 receiver and a JBL remote. For some reason this this remote I have to press buttons twice for the Dishnetwork receiver to pick them up. Now I don't have any problems with any of my other peripherials (Sony receiver, Samsung TV, Samsung DVD/VCR)-- Just the dishnetwork. Is it true that some types of light in a room will cause the remote not to work well? Cause I think this is the case with my remote. Any help would be appreciated.
