Yes I got the monitor yesterday, no remote or tv tuner. As one might imagine, it doesn't really fit on a desk too well, so I might just get a VCR and use it as TV tuner and hook it up to my computer with a S-video cable if I want to watch some movies or sporting events or whatever.

I see what the JP1 cable does, it reprograms your remote. I won't need a remote for this monitor though :-), only for the VCR.
