$200 isn't bad since when I looked for a HDDVD ROM drive for PCs, they were in the $400+ range.
they still are 400$, that is MS gift to try and kill HD disks. You will also need to buy playback SW if you want it to work
One site said the drive used in the Xbox add-on was made by Toshiba.
