I have used this with good success https://cartell.com/products/driveway-alarm/.  Have a camera pointed at the sensor location and when the sensor is triggered it triggers the input on the recorder to take pictures and sends an email with the pics to the customer.  The sensor is also tied into the Crestron system and also chimes the touch panels and mutes the audio zones.

Only issue I have had is the recorder stopped sending emails but this was a firmware issue on the recorder and nothing to do with the sensor itself.
