I have used this before, not sure how far you can go with it. It is what a lot of the security system installers use.

We had a Crestron system in the house and it would send an email or a text message when someone entered the driveway. We put in two so we would know if the car was entering or exiting and only sent on exit.

This could get quite expensive for a stand alone system. You could also try a Ring camera with motion alerts turned on and positioned correctly. May get false alerts from animals/trees. You could need fiber for that distance unless you could get wireless coverage.
