I'm not a drummer or a musician but I don't think Jerome's drumming any better or any worse. I could make the argument that Neil has at least 10 more percussive instruments (didn't count) in his setup and I would guess that he could do as good (compared to your idea of what is good) as Jerome if he had his total number. I also don't get the flat comment. Jerome's drumming isn't more dynamic than Neil's in my uneducated opinion. Micheal Jordan wouldn't be great if he only was good for 5 years. Neil did it his whole life and why he is probably considered one of the greats. That should account for something plus you are comparing a guy in his 20's to a guy who is much older. Comparing them at their peak ages are the most important consideration.
