The EASIEST way to go about it is what others said. Factory default Fios router then put your router in a different subnet and you should be good to go. At my house, I dont have a Fios router at all. I have the ONT going ethernet into a USG then the LAN of the USG to a large switch. In the switch, I have an Actiontec ECB2500V (V for Verizon) plugged in and the coax port going into a splitter with the Fios Boxes. On Demand and Guide Still works perfectly. I can even use the Fios app and get caller ID on screen.

You had to open up a few ports though right?

I was doing this exact thing for a while until it quite working. With the help of springs it turned out to be a port issue. I now just DMZ the fios router
