If a person removes the CSS encryption from a commercial
DVD the copy w/o the CSS will be able to be upscaled over
component. The Oppo DV-980H to 1080p and the DV-970D to
1080i
Interesting.
Not that I'm considering doing this, but how would one be remove the CSS encryption? Would you have to make a copy of the DVD?
