Installing a Russound unit for a client and we are wanting to control it via RS-232 with the URC KP-4000 and MX-5000. So far we haven't been able to get any commands to work with it. The status light is lighting up on the MRX-1 when we send a command but nothing is working.
Unsure if I have the right commands although it's the right model number in the URC database.
Serial Properties are Baud Rate: 19200 Data: 8 Parity: None Stop: 1
This is the settings Russound sent me...
Taken from “Russound_Controllers_Protocol_v1_00_04.pdf”
The following settings must be made to the RS-232 serial COM port used to interface with the Controllers: • 19200 baud rate • 1 Start bit • 1 Stop bit • No flow control • No parity
Any ideas or directions to move forward?
