Yep. My sister first dropped him off to live at a farm. Friend of her husbands. A month later they went to visit and found him chained to a pole in the middle of the lawn. Malnourished and he had an infection of some sort that he almost didnt come back from. Obvious that he had been living/left outside for that entire month. The collar had create a callus on his neck. This is when he was still very small. Second place he was dropped off at was her brother in laws apartment. This is where the dog spent 3 weeks living in a cage and where he learned to be afraid of a belt. I cant even put my belt on in front of him or he runs out of the room.

So when we got him he was afraid of being left outside alone. Afraid of being in a cage. Hes super needy. He constantly checks to make sure your still there.
