All these things are normal. The movie is supposed to look like old news reel footage. The vertical lines were supposed to look like scratches on the film. The blurring is also normal. There were no steady cams used in this movie. All the shots were made with hand helds, and so the focus can be off some when there is an explosion. Effect, effect, effect.
