Thanks, I was told that it is a flicker free more film like image. Progessive scan DVD players lock my set in the full mode. This means that I can only watch anamorphic DVD's with the progessive scan outputs. I will have to run the regular component out for non-anamorphic DVD's. This sux, an $8,000 tv that has a current technology problem already. I can get the Toshiba SD-5109 for $495. That is a great price considering I can probally get atleast $600 for my Pioneer DVD-919 LD/DVD player. Thanks for your feedback!
