Unfortunately, there's no magic button to make this happen.

It would appear that the images embedded in your config file are black and white. In this case, you must use the save button from properties dialog to save the image to your hard drive. Edit the image with an image editor to colorize it (I recommend finding color images from other CCFs here instead if you are not familiar with image editing), save it, and the use properties dialog to 'Load' it back into the panel/button from which it came.
