I have just redone my home theater and would like to charge the TSU9600 in one location, but have another charger stand (not plugged in) by the seating area, simply acting as a support for the remote. Will putting the TSU9600 in the charge stand, without plugging it in, drain the battery of the TSU9600?

I realize I could do my own trial, but just thought I would post this to see if anyone has any experience that might suggest this is not a good idea.
